How dark can I legally tint my car in Victoria?
As a general guide, Victorian rules allow a darker shade on rear windows than on front side windows, and only a sun strip across the top of the windscreen. Limits can depend on your vehicle, so we confirm the legal options for your car before we fit anything.
How long does car window tinting take?
Most cars are done within the day. Larger vehicles, curved rear windscreens or old tint removal can take longer. We give you a pick-up time when you book.
Can I wind my windows down straight after tinting?
Keep the windows up for a few days so the film can settle and bond to the glass. We will tell you the exact time for your film at pick-up.
Why does new tint look hazy or have small water spots?
A little haze or moisture is normal while the film cures and usually clears within days to a couple of weeks, depending on the weather. If anything remains after that, contact us and we will check it.
What does the Australia Wide Lifetime Guarantee mean?
Your tint is covered under our Australia Wide Lifetime Guarantee, so the cover stays with you even if you move interstate. We go through the details with you when the car is handed back.
Can you remove my old tint?
Yes. Old purple or bubbling tint can be removed before new film goes on. Tell us when you ask for a quote so we can include it.
Will tint affect my GPS, radio or phone signal?
Non-metallic films, including nano ceramic film, are designed not to interfere with signals. Ask us which film suits your car if this matters to you.
